Channel Expo 08: Firm embarks on campaign to educate customers on modern printer capabilities

High-end printer vendor Oki took the opportunity at Channel Expo to drive home its message that its latest products can offer a wealth of unexpected uses on top of just printing emails.

Whilst showcasing models such as the recently launched C965OXF, the firm highlighted the capabilities of its higher priced products, which it claims gives users the power to complete tasks that previously required a print shop, such as printing images and logos onto t-shirts (as modeled by the stand staff).

Other advanced functions in areas such as education (in which wrist bands for school trips can be printed) and the service industry (in which menus, pub evenings and event posters can be produced in-house) are also growing in demand, according to the firm.
