Grisoft re-brands as AVG Technologies

Security developer changes name to that of best selling product
Security software developer Grisoft has changed its leading name to AVG technologies, after its product line of the same name.
The re-brand reflects the success of its flagship brand, and will filter down to all subsidiaries across the globe.
“The change in name is primarily intended to enhance awareness of the AVG brand in the world", said J.R.
Smith, chief executive officer of AVG Technologies. "By aligning our corporate identity with our brand identity, we expect to significantly increase the effectiveness of our marketing activities and other communications.”
