Asus prepares to push it to the limit to see if material is viable
Asustek has announced that it has begun testing on the Eco book, with a view to mass production should the results turn out favourable.
PC Retail originally reported on the Eco book back in June, however, word about it went quiet until Asustek announced on Friday that it had begun testing.
No potential launch date has been announced. "If it does get to the point where we do find a model that meets all the engineering requirements and allows green computing, we will release it," said Asustek's director of marketing communication, Cher Chronis. "Everybody loves the Eco book. It's a beautiful computer."
