New Mac-Pro options for 3.0 GHz Quad-Core Intel machines.
Leading computer retailer Apple has today announced that it’s to offer a build-to-order option for its new Mac Pro 3.0 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon range, which will see 8-core processing arrive on Mac for the very first time.
The hardware giant claims the extra performance granted by the hardware will be invaluable to users who typically indulge in processor-heavy activity, primarily the likes of 3D modelling and animation.
The new system will be available in 33 million possible configurations.
In other news, Apple has also reduced the price of its 20-inch, 23-inch and 30-inch Cinema display flat panel screens.
